About us – How a home game became Bullets Playing Cards®

What began as a simple home game among friends is now one of the most popular poker brands in Europe.

Even back in school, we met regularly with our friends to play poker. Our passion for the game was there immediately – but what was missing was suitable and stylish equipment. The felt rugs slipped, the cardboard cards bent easily, and that real casino feeling didn't really exist. But that was exactly what we wanted: atmosphere. Quality. That special feeling when a card glides across the table or chips clash with a rich sound – and the overall picture at the table simply fits through style and design..

So we started tinkering ourselves.

In addition to our studies and careers, we designed our first own products – out of necessity and with the ambition to elevate the home gaming experience to a new level. From the very beginning, our goal was to develop durable poker accessories that are not only functional, but also noticeably enhance the gaming experience at home. And so, in 2016, the brand was born. Bullets Playing Cards® born.

We knew: A good poker chip needs the right weight, a distinctive sound profile, and a design that immediately catches the eye. Playing cards need to feel classic and familiar—sturdy yet flexible, grippy yet gliding. And a playmat? It shouldn't fluff or slip, it needs to feel soft, yet have a smooth surface on which cards glide smoothly—and be easy to lift when picked up. These are all the little details that make the difference—and they've been our top priority since day one.

In close collaboration with experienced designers, our product range gradually grew. Each individual product is the result of extensive testing, numerous poker evenings, and a clear philosophy: Design meets function – for a poker game with atmosphere.

But we don't just focus on quality and enthusiasm in our products. Customer service has also been important to us from the very beginning. We wanted every order to be a positive experience – from the first click to the last card. That's why we offer replacement services for playing cards and chips, for example, in case something gets lost or damaged. Our customer service is always friendly and helpful – that's a given for us.

Today is Bullets Playing Cards® A fixture in the poker scene – in Germany, Europe, and the USA. We support large and small tournaments, poker clubs, home game rounds, and charitable events. A portion of our proceeds regularly goes to social projects – such as the Rommerskirchen Food Bank, the Child Protection Association, youth groups, and charity tournaments.

For us, poker is not just about cards, chips, and bluffs – it’s about community, passion, and the right values.
